Workshops
During ERS 2025 attendees will have the wonderful opportunity to take part in workshops to help improve their technichal skills in various domains.
The final list of workshops will be adapted based on your preference! Don't forget to specify your interests during the registration process.
We plan to offer workshops in the following areas of interest:

All deadlines are intended to be at the 23:59 (CEST) of the indicated day.
Submissions and registrations open on Monday, 11th November.
The deadline for abstract submissions is Thursday, January 9th, 2025.
The deadline for travel grant requests is Friday, December 20th, 2024.
Call for abstract
Showcase your research at the ERS 2025 as a talk or a poster, and network in person with your peers from all over Switzerland!
We invite all PhD students and Postdocs working in neuroscience in a Swiss institution to submit an abstract to present their work in Bern.
The abstract has to be less than 400 words and you can indicate during the submission if you would like to have a talk, a poster or if you do not have a preference. We will try to accomodate your preference, but consider that the number of slots for talks is limited.
Registration
The registration is free for all members of the Swiss Society for Neuroscience that have a valid membership for 2025. The registration gives access to all presentations, food, and social activities. Please fill out this form with your information here in order to participate to the ERS2025.

Travel Grants
For the third year, thanks to the generous contribution of our sponsors, we are able to offer some travel grants to young members (PhD students and Postdocs) of the Swiss Society for Neuroscience to attend the annual symposium. These grants are foreseen to support students and postdocs working in laboratories that do not have the means or prefer not to support their participation to the ERS.
The grants can cover a SBB/CFF/FFS ticket (2nd class with half-fare) from the city where you come from to Lausanne and back. Additionally, it is possible to apply for one overnight stay in a hotel in Lausanne to attend the Annual Meeting of the Swiss Society for Neuroscience on the next day (note that the registration to this event must be done separately from the ERS25 registration, you can find the registration form on the SSN website here).
